Get the "Business Model Canvas", developed by Strategyzer.
Use post-it notes (one idea per post-it).
- Start with the box "customer segments". Limit yourself to the 3 priority segments, with one post-it color for each.
- For each segment, fill in the other boxes, respecting the color code.
- Eliminate the superfluous, focus on the essential, proceed by iterations.
- Look for consistency in the overall system to strengthen your business model.
Don't waste time explaining or negotiating, let the post-its do the talking for you...
