Define your communication strategy
You intend to communicate on your solution.
Step 1: targets and messages
- define the objectives of your communication campaign
- identify three or four priority targets
- Figure out their needs
- what do you want them to KNOW, FEEL, DO?
- what are your key messages for each target?
Step 2: tactics
for each target and each message, choose :
- tone and iconography,
- communication channels: media, social networks, face-to-face, hacking actions, mailing, etc..,
- partnerships,
- roles (spokesperson, project manager, editor, community manager, technical team, etc.),
- the schedule.
Thus, you get a communication plan, which you can update if necessary.
